During Hasan Salihamidzic's tenure, Bayern discussed Rabiot, although he is not a traditional holding midfielder.

Additionally, reports suggest that Bayern attempted to sign Argentine legend Diego Maradona's son Thiago during the winter transfer window. Bayern is also interested in signing Thiago this summer.
