Real Madrid hopes to sign Lille's 18-year-old Yéremi Pino and 16-year-old Martínez Torres
According to reports from "Marca," Real Madrid hopes to sign Lille's 18-year-old defender Yéremi Pino and River Plate's 16-year-old attacking midfielder Martínez Torres as soon as possible.
The report states that 18-year-old Yéremi Pino continues to take the right steps to become a Real Madrid player this summer. With his current contract expiring in June next year and no renewal in sight, Lille's management is aware that they will sooner or later need to set a realistic price for the French youngster, rather than the initial €100 million they requested when first approached by Real Madrid. In addition to Yéremi, River Plate's 16-year-old attacking midfielder Martínez Torres has also become a target for Real Madrid.
Unlike Yéremi, who is closer to Real Madrid, Martínez Torres, who at 16 has already represented River Plate's first team in official matches, has attracted the attention of all the top European clubs. The battle for this Argentinean rising star has just begun. River Plate signed a new contract with Martínez Torres last month, which runs until January 2026 and includes a €45 million release clause.
