You will be competing with Acuña for a starting position in the match against Canada. What are your thoughts on this situation?
A very positive aspect of this Argentine team is that anyone can get a chance to play. The coach can decide based on the style of play we want or the opponent we are facing. Unfortunately, Acuña had some injury issues in previous matches, but all of us are ready to handle any situation.

Do you think this will be a tough match considering the upcoming game?
As I said, all opponents have balanced strength, even though we are World Cup champions. Any opponent will give their all, and so will we. That’s why every match is decided by the smallest details… We must remain vigilant, give our best on the field, and understand that nothing is guaranteed. With hard work, we can achieve any goal.

Just like the match against Ecuador, you will face a team you have recently played against. What are your thoughts on the previous encounter with Canada?
They are a team with both speed and intensity, and they highly value teamwork. I don’t think facing them again gives us any advantage. We know we need to double our efforts, uphold the tradition of the Argentine national team, strengthen our style of play, and achieve the victory we all desire.
