Hwang In-beom joins Feyenoord

Feyenoord Football Club of the Eredivisie has officially announced the signing of South Korean international Hwang In-beom from Red Star Belgrade, with a contract running until the summer of 2028.

The official statement reads: "We are delighted to sign South Korean player Hwang In-beom to strengthen our midfield. The 27-year-old comes from Serbia's champion club, Red Star Belgrade, and has signed a four-year contract with us, valid until the summer of 2028. He still needs to complete the necessary transfer procedures, so he is not yet eligible to play. Hwang In-beom will wear the number 4 jersey at Feyenoord."

Hwang In-beom stated: "I am very happy to join Feyenoord. My teammates in Serbia told me that joining Feyenoord was the right decision. This is the biggest club I have ever played for, a true European powerhouse, and I hope to play here for a long time. I know the home stadium is always packed, and I am looking forward to showing my skills in front of so many fans."

Hwang In-beom also revealed that he chose the number 4 jersey because it was the best available number in the team, and it was also his number when he played in Canada, which holds a special meaning for him.
