Vinicius: Most people in Spain are not racist, but if the issue is not resolved
Vinicius continues his fight against racism. Recently, he spoke to the media about the issue of racism in Spain, stating that if the problem is not resolved before the 2030 World Cup, the venue for the tournament should be changed.
Vinicius said, “I hope Spain can progress and understand the seriousness of insulting others based on skin color. If the situation doesn’t improve by 2030, I think the World Cup should be held elsewhere. It would be very difficult for players to compete comfortably and confidently in a country where they might face racism.”
On the other hand, although the Real Madrid player has stated that he is very happy in Spain, he will continue to work towards eliminating this social issue. He added, “I believe and hope to do everything possible to change the situation because in Spain, the vast majority of people are not racist, despite a small minority affecting the country’s image. Spain is a very livable country.”
