Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane earns Man of the Match in 100th international cap

In Tuesday’s UEFA Nations League match against Finland, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane earned his 100th international cap for England. Kane already sits atop the scoring leaderboard for the Three Lions but is now within 25 appearances of catching goalkeeper Peter Shilton.

Kane could’ve taken it easy on his historic night, but the competitive drive is clearly too strong. Kane broke the deadlock in the 57th minute and put the match away in the 76th minute. This is the 12th time that Kane has scored a brace or better for England, which is a staggering rate.

After the impressive evening, Kane will head back to Munich to prepare for Bayern’s busy week that includes two Bundesliga matches and a Champions league fixture against Dinamo Zagreb.
